Your financial life is complex. Our process isn't.

See how we can turn financial complexity into a plan that actually makes sense for your life.

How it works

We have a clear, step-by-step process so you know what to expect at every stage.

A Real Conversation

You'll spend 30 minutes with our team to share what’s on your mind: the decisions you're weighing, what's worked with past advisors and what hasn't, and what you want the next chapter to look like. This conversation helps us get to know each other, to see if there’s a fit on both sides. We act as a professional extension of our clients’ families - so it matters that the relationship feels right from the start.

Who's a Good Fit

The clients who get the most out of working with us tend to share a few things in common:

They delegate, but they stay engaged.

Our best clients are capable people with full lives who'd rather hand the financial complexity to a team they trust than carry it alone. They want to be kept informed, not turned into experts.

They see success as more than a number.

Performance matters. But the people who fit here care about what their money is doing for them, building and living a life of purpose.

They lead with generosity.

Giving is often part of the picture, whether that's supporting causes they believe in, helping the people around them, or building a plan where charitable goals are part of the strategy from the start.

They value the relationship.

They're thoughtful, they care, and they want a team that knows them, not just their account number.

They think in terms of legacy.

Many of our clients are planning for more than themselves, whether that's their family or the causes they care about. They want their decisions to hold up across generations, and they're open to bringing their families into the conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about working with Gainline.

It starts with a 30-minute conversation. We’ll get to know each other, answer your questions, and see if there’s a fit on both sides. If there is, we’ll walk you through what happens next.

Our typical minimum is $500,000 in investable assets. That said, we occasionally make exceptions based on fit and planning complexity.

We start by understanding your goals, values, financial situation, and the life you’re trying to build. From there, we build a personalized strategy and investment portfolio designed to match your risk tolerance, time horizon and priorities. We monitor and adjust your portfolio over time because the plan and the portfolio only work if they keep up with your life.

We love meeting with our clients. Our cadence is tailored to you: your complexity, your needs, your life stage. Most clients meet with us at least semi-annually, with quarterly check-ins in the first year as we get to know each other and put your plan in motion. You’ll also hear from us on a regular basis to check in on your plan and share what we’re seeing in the markets. And whether something major changes or you just want to talk something through, we’re always available by phone, video, or in person.

That’s part of life, and part of the plan. When there’s a change (to your priorities, family, income, real estate, or giving wishes) we revisit what you’re working towards and update the plan so it stays aligned with your life. That’s what we’re here for.

As fiduciaries, we’re legally obligated to act in your best interest. We’ve built our business around that obligation: every recommendation you get is the one we believe will best accomplish your goals. The advice you get is never tied to a commission or sales incentive.

Our compensation is straightforward: you pay us an advisory fee, and that’s how we’re paid for the planning and investment work we do for you. Occasionally, our planning process surfaces an insurance-based need or another product that fits into your broader plan. Gainline Financial Partners is not an insurance business, but we can help meet those needs through separate entities and partners. When that happens, any compensation is clearly disclosed in advance, and we never double-bill (we won’t charge an advisory fee on assets where we’re already being compensated another way).
