Our collaborative, planning-first approach helps ensure every financial decision supports your goals today — and your legacy tomorrow.
Know what you’re paying for – clear, objective advice built around your goals.
We don’t take payments from fund managers, ETF companies, or product providers. Our only compensation comes from you, so our advice stays independent and objective.
Our fee structure is tied to your success. We’re not paid to push products or trades, so every recommendation is designed for your goals.
Our model is simple and transparent. We believe financial advice should be relationship-driven and focused on long-term results, not sales or commissions.
Our team is committed to building lasting, trust-based relationships with every client. We take the time to understand your goals, values, and vision for the future—often working across generations to help families grow, preserve, and pass on their wealth with confidence and clarity.
Our values reflect our commitment to putting your interests first and providing the highest level of service and advice possible. We are proud to be fiduciaries in all client relationships and believe that this standard of care is critical to long-term success.
We believe in giving you our best, always. As fiduciaries, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, unbiased, well-researched advice.
We want everyone to be themselves and share their ideas. We believe in integrity, respectful disagreement, and open communication. As your trusted advisors, we pledge to act in your best interests and be clear about our suggestions.
Your family is a critical part of our winning team. We work together to define goals and approaches that play to collective strengths, while always keeping your best interests as the top priority.
Respect helps us achieve great results. We will be present, listen carefully, and ask questions to understand better. We know that empathy and trust are key to building lasting relationships.
Everything you need to know about working with Gainline.
We start by understanding your goals, values, and financial situation. From there, we build a personalized strategy and investment portfolio designed to match your risk tolerance, time horizon, and long-term objectives. We monitor and adjust your portfolio over time to keep you on track.
Our typical minimum is $500,000 in investable assets. That said, we occasionally make exceptions based on fit and planning complexity.
We charge an ongoing, asset-based management fee—usually monthly and in arrears. Our rates are tiered and may be reduced if household accounts are combined. In some cases, we offer a wrap-fee program, which includes most trading and custodial costs.
Our team earns salaries and may receive discretionary bonuses based on things like client retention and service—not sales. Some advisors may also be licensed to offer insurance or brokerage services, which could create a conflict. But we always prioritize your best interest, and we’re happy to talk through any concerns.
That’s part of life—and part of the plan. We expect change and build flexibility into your strategy. When things shift, we’ll revisit your plan and make thoughtful updates so you can move forward with confidence.
At least annually, but we’re here as often as needed. Whether something major changes or you just want to check in, we’re available by phone, video, or in-person.
Discretionary means we make day-to-day investment decisions on your behalf based on your plan—no need for approval each time. Non-discretionary means we’ll advise you on choices, but you make the final call before we act.
It starts with a conversation. We’ll learn more about you, answer your questions, and explore if we’re a good fit. If we move forward, we’ll guide you through onboarding with care and clarity.
